Co - Design
Sessions

During the first co-design session we  carried out activities that gave us a better understanding of Ana's priorities and wishes towards this problem and brainstormed together possible solutions. She also ranked and added to a list we hasd previously brainstormed with potential directions. At the end of this session we had a clear understanding of what our product should do.

We then set off ideating and chose bewtween ourselves the ideas that interested us most. The second co-design session gave us further isight into what specific features our participant would like to see in a product of this kind. We also looked at games of her daughter's and played with her to see what affordances and rules she could grasp, and what sort of things caught her attention and excited her in toys.

Throught the ideation phase we focused on making our designs as intuitive as possible, making affordances clear through colour, shape and text or images. We also looked for designs that would be inviting for a child and implemented lights, colours and other attention grabbing elements.

From Idea to Concept

With the ideation and the input from both co-design sessions we developed our best idea into a rounded concept.  Polishing all of the features and working principles. The second co-design session served specifically to set in stone the elements of our final concept.
